i walked 10-20 km most days, both in the wood and in the cities i visited.

beautiful forrest on the east coast of sweden.

in visby, gothland, they had no more need for their prision and made a hostel out of it.
i slept one night in cell nr 2.

wisby, gothland.

these walls are from the 12th century!

faith of the north.
the shop is closed until the tourists come back in the summer.

early punk from the 14th century.

these rams are set up everywhere they do not want cars to drive.
that works.

prechristmas stockholm.

i spent a whole day in the wasa museum.

wax man after a dead guy on board the wasa.

alfred nobel (also dead).

inside the swedish national museum.

prechristmas helsinki.

helsinki central station.

photographer signe brandner documented helsinki from 1906-1909.
that time the town realized that changes at large scale are happening and ordered a photographer to show how helsinki was before.
what phantastic foresight this townhall had!

a demonstration for the 38 victims of domestic violance in finnland that died this year.
all of them were women.

the photographer sergei trofimov showed me around tallin
he has the same complex as me: feel naked without a camera.

everything made of amber.

also tallin is one of the beautiful mideaval towns of the north.

sergei and lena drewling over their pictures of the pushkin ball.

what an exeptional turn my stay in tallin took!
after walking around in the swedish woods for a while, i was at the pushkin ball with the filmdirector alyona surzhikova

from tallin i flew to vienna for a photojob...

...from the air!

fffffffffuuuuuuuunnnnnn!!
with a special permission we flew over the city center, and i leaned out in 300 m hight and 100 km/h speed to get the shot i needed.
